The Tiffin University volleyball team (13-16, 7-9 GMAC) fell to GMAC opponent Northwood 3-1.

The Timberwolves won 25-15, 25-19, 14-25, and 25-17.

The Timberwolves built a 10-4 lead early in the first set, but Tiffin countered with a 4-2 run to cut the lead down to 12-8. Northwood took the first set 25-15.

NU kept its momentum from the first set and held a 5-1 lead in set two. The Timberwolves went on a 6-1 run to take a 16-9 lead. Tiffin responded with a 7-2 run to cut the lead to 19-18. The Timberwolves went on to win the set 25-19.

Tiffin jumped out to a 6-4 lead in the third set. The Timberwolves chipped away at the Dragons' lead and tied the game at 11-11 until Tiffin countered with a 14-3 run to win the third set 25-14.

Tiffin had a 3-2 lead early in the fourth set, then NU responded with a 6-0 run to lead 9-2. Tiffin responded with a 6-0 run midway through the set to tie 12-12. Northwood went on a 7-2 run to lead 19-14. Northwood went on to win the fourth set 25-17.

Kaylee Freund led the Dragons with nine kills, a .333 hitting percentage, one assist, one dig, and seven block assists, Wakaya Wilson had nine kills, with a .129 hitting percentage, three digs, and two block assists, and Kenedi Goon registered nine kills with a 0.1 hitting percentage, one assist, one dig, and two block assists.

Clare Kwiatkowski recorded 35 assists, 11 digs, and three block assists and teammate Diana Heitkamp tallied 23 digs, two assists, and four service aces.
