The Tiffin University volleyball team beat conference foe Cedarville, losing the first set 27-25, then winning the next three sets 25-23, 25-20, and 25-23. 

The Dragons improve to 5-8 overall and 3-0 in the GMAC, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in the GMAC.

The Yellow Jackets went up 5-3 early at the start of the match but the Dragons rallied back to lead 10-7. Tiffin continued their offensive pressure and led by as many as 21-14. However, the Yellow Jackets wouldn't give up yet and went on a 9-1 run to take a 23-22 lead. Cedarville outscored Tiffin 4-3 down the stretch to win the first set 27-25.

The Dragons started hot in the second set, getting the first four points of the set, but the Yellow Jackets responded with a 3-0 run to get them back in the game. The two teams traded points until Tiffin went on a 3-0 run to lead 12-10, then the Yellow Jackets countered with a 5-0 run to retake the lead 15-12. Tiffin tied the game at 20-20 and Cedarville gained a small 23-21 lead to force a Tiffin timeout that sparked a 4-0 run to win set two 25-23.

The Dragons had a slow start to the third set as the visitors built a 12-6 lead early in the third set. The Dragons went on a 4-1 run to bring the score to 13-10, but the Yellow Jackets responded with a 4-0 run to extend their lead to 17-10. After a Tiffin timeout, the offense erupted going on a 9-0 run to lead 18-17 and continued this offensive pressure the rest of the set to win 25-20.

With the Dragons still surging from the third set, they scored five straight points to open the fourth set. However, the Yellow Jackets fought back into the set, tying set four at 9-9. The Dragons went on a 5-1 run to lead 14-10, but the visitors responded with a 5-1 run tying the game at 15-15 all. Tiffin was able to build a small 22-19 lead until the Yellow Jackets responded with a 4-0 run to lead 23-22. The Dragons responded with a 3-0 run to claim the fourth set to win 3-1.

As a team, the Dragons registered 49 kills with a .074 hitting percentage, 81 digs, 12 total blocks, 47 assists, and five service aces, compared to the Yellow Jackets who recorded 50 kills with a .073 hitting percentage, 79 digs, 23 total blocks, 48 assists, and five service aces.

Tiffin's attack was led by Wakaya Wilson who tallied 15 kills with a .133 hitting percentage, 10 digs, two blocks, and two service aces, and Josie Reinhart who tallied 8 kills with a.250 hitting percentage, and two blocks. Grace Schreiber recorded 8 kills with a .030 hitting percentage, four digs, and two blocks and Taylor Peterson had 8 kills with a team-high .294 hitting percentage and one block. 

Sam Fallis led the team with 31 digs and two assists, while Loryn Huffman notched 43 assists, 15 digs, two service aces, two kills, and one block.
