The Tiffin University volleyball team was bested by Ohio Dominican 3-2, losing the first two sets 25-23, 25-17, winning the next two set 25-12, 25-22, and falling in the deciding fifth set 15-13.

The Panthers improve to 7-4 overall and 7-4 in the conference, while the Dragons fall to 6-4 overall and 6-4 in the conference. 

In a close battle, the Dragons slightly outhit the Panthers with a .101 hitting percentage compared to the Panthers .099 but the Panthers tallied more kills than the Dragons 58-51. 

The Panthers jumped out to a 3-1 lead but Tiffin clawed back to lead 6-4. The two teams traded points until the Panthers went on a 3-0 run to lead 20-17, but the Dragons countered with a 4-0 run to lead 21-20. Ohio Dominican rallied to outscore the Dragons 5-2 down the stretch to win the first set 25-23. 

Tiffin led 3-1 early in the second set but the Panthers took a 17-9 lead on the back of a 9-0 run. The Dragons' late rally wasn't enough as the Panthers won the second set 25-17. 

The Dragons jumped out to a significant lead, winning 10-4 early. Tiffin kept on the pressure, leading 21-10, and won the third set 25-12.  

Tiffin led 9-4 to start the fourth set on the back of a 5-0 run, but the Panthers countered with a 9-2 run to lead 13-11. The Dragons' offense poured on the points, outscoring Ohio Dominican 9-2 to lead 20-15. The Dragons won the fourth set 25-22, forcing a fifth set. 

The Dragons lead 3-0 to start the fifth set, but the Panthers rallied to tie the game at 9-9 and eventually took a 13-10 lead. TU tied the set at 13 all but the Panthers won the next two rallies to win 15-13. 

Grace Schreiber led the Dragons with 17 points with nine kills and an .027 hitting percentage, four service aces, and eight block assists. Kyley Keene had 14.5 points with 11 kills with a .136 hitting percentage, three service aces, and one block assist. Danielle Sargent tallied 13 points on 12 kills with a .286 hitting percentage, and two block assists.  

Loryn Huffman registered 41 assists, 21 digs, two block assists and one solo block and teammate Sam Fallis recorded 26 digs and three assists.
