2019 AVCA Division II All-America Teams

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association released the 2019 Division II All-America Volleyball Teams on Tuesday, and Tiffin's Jenna Huffman received Third Team honors.

Huffman becomes Tiffin volleyball's first-ever All-American, capping an incredibly decorated and historic four years in a Dragon uniform.

In addition to this prestigious AVCA All-American award, her senior campaign has included CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team and All-District First Team honors, two First Team All-Midwest Region selections (AVCA, D2CCA), First Team All-GMAC honors, and two GMAC Offensive Player of the Week accolades.

With just eight teams left in competition during the upcoming final weekend of the Division II NCAA Championship, Huffman is currently leading all of Division II with 4.76 kills per set, 5.34 points per set, 13.21 attacks per set, and 562 total kills. She is also third in total attacks with 1,559. Her 4.76 kills per set is a new single-season record for both Tiffin and the GMAC.

In Tiffin's 32 matches in 2019, Huffman recorded double-digit kills in all but four contests, including 13 times with 20 or more kills. She was especially dominant down the stretch, finishing with over 10 kills in each of the last 10 matches, including over 20 in six of the final eight.

This year, the senior became the only Tiffin volleyball player ever to compile over 1,500 career kills, 1,000 career digs, and 400 career blocks. She surpassed the digs mark on Oct. 8 against Slippery Rock, and blew past the the kills milestone on Oct. 25 in a big GMAC win over Cedarville.

Huffman's name is all over the Tiffin volleyball career record books, finishing second with 1,689 kills, second with 4,146 attempts, second with a .309 hitting percentage, third with 374 block assists, fifth with 481 total blocks, ninth with 107 solo blocks, and ninth with 464 sets played. In the Dragons' history as a member of Division II, Huffman also holds the career records in kills, kills per set, points, attempts, solo blocks, block assists, total blocks, sets played, and matches played.

In addition to the kills per set single-season record, Huffman also holds the best hitting percentage mark (.391, 2018) and second-highest kills total (562, 2019) in one season in program history.

She ends her career with one All-American honor, one Academic All-American honor, four All-Region honors (3x D2CCA, 1x AVCA), one Academic All-District honor, four All-Conference honors (2x GLIAC, 2x GMAC), and the 2016 GLIAC Blocker of the Year award.
