Huffman Earns Second G-MAC Weekly Honor

INDIANAPOLIS - Jenna Huffman continues to dominate Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action, and for her efforts this past week she has received her second G-MAC Volleyball West Division Athlete of the Week award.

Huffman led Tiffin to a pair of conference victories this week, as the Dragons swept both Lake Erie (25-23, 25-23, 25-19) and Ursuline (25-23, 25-21, 25-21) to improve to 10-2 in the conference and 15-5 overall. The Dragons currently sit in third place in the G-MAC West Division behind Hillsdale and Findlay. Notably, however, TU's record is also third overall in the conference as they are above all seven East Division programs.

During the week, Huffman hit an impressive .431 with 30 kills, 28 digs, and five blocks. She was all over the court in both games, posting double-doubles in kills and digs in each match.

In regards to the G-MAC, the junior's numbers during this week's action ranked third in kills and fifth in attack percentage.

Huffman was also named the conference player of the week once earlier this season for the games spanning Sept. 17-23.

The Dragons will next make a trip down to Cedarville on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Earlier this year, Tiffin swept the Yellow Jackets at home (26-24, 25-15, 25-18).
