The Tiffin University volleyball team saw their season come to an end in a wet and snowy Houghton, Michigan on Wednesday night, falling to the Michigan Tech Huskies in straight sets.

The Dragons trailed from the start of the opening set, but fought back to draw even at 8-8. A 9-4 run by the Huskies gave Michigan Tech the lead at 17-12. The Dragons fought back to pull within a point at 20-19, but were unable to overtake Michigan Tech as they fell 25-22.

The Dragons had to play from behind again in the second set, seeing their deficit rise to as much as eight points. Tiffin was able to narrow the gap to four points, but it was too little too late as they fell 25-18.

In the final set, Tiffin took an early lead, but were unable to hold it as the Huskies drew even at 10-10. Michigan Tech then used an 8-1 run to hold an 18-11 lead. Tiffin clawed to within three points at 18-15, but the Huskies rolled to a 25-16 set win thanks to a 7-1 run to close out the contest.

The Dragons finish the season 20-13 overall, the first 20 win season ever for the Dragons as a member at the NCAA Division II level. Tiffin bids farewell to three seniors, losing Taylor Lattimore, Kasey Adelsperger, and Danielle Hicks to graduation.
