Tiffin University (7-6, 2-3) vs. Purdue University Northwest (5-10, 1-4) 

The Tiffin University Dragons will finally come home after playing the first 13 matches of the season on the road or at neutral sites. The Dragons will welcome in the Pride of Purdue University Northwest. The Pride are new to the GLIAC and it is the first time the Dragons have ever tangled with Purdue Northwest. 

Last Time Out: The Pride broke a three game losing streak on Wednesday, defeating St. Francis 3-1. Prior to that win, Purdue Northwest had gone 11 days without a victory. 

Conference Adjustment: Acclimating to the GLIAC hasn't gone so well for the Pride, sitting 1-4 in conference games. The lone win came against Northwood, and three of the four losses have been in straight sets. 

Ace The Line: The Pride lead the GLIAC in service aces, logging 78 in 15 matches. 

Errors Will Haunt: In their 15 matches, the Pride have committed 18 or more errors in 10 matches, posting a 3-7 record. 

Players To Watch: 

Gabrielle Martin: Leading Purdue Northwest in kills with 156, Martin is averaging 2.89 kills per set, and is 2nd in service aces. 

Kayla Elsea: Sitting second on the team in kills (99), Elsea leads the Pride in blocks with 42. 

 

Tiffin University (7-6, 2-3) vs. Davenport University (7-6, 3-2) 

The Panthers have made their presence felt in the GLIAC, holding their own against some of the top competition in the conference. The biggest of their seven wins came against rival Grand Valley State.

Last Time Out: The Panthers were blanked their last time out by the Wayne State Warriors. The Panthers played the Warriors close in the final two sets, falling 28-26 and 26-24. 

Untested On The Road: Davenport has yet to play in a road game this season. The Panthers are 4-4 in neutral site games and 3-2 on their home turf. 

Walling Off The Net: The Panthers lead the GLIAC in assisted blocks with 203. In total blocks Davenport is 2nd in the GLIAC with 125. 

Players To Watch: 

Krissy Dill: Leading the Panthers and the GLIAC in kills with 204, Dill is averaging 4.08 kills per set. 

Ashley VanderHorst: Leading the GLIAC in total blocks, VanderHorst is averaging 1.36 blocks per set and has logged 94 kills.
