Hicks and Huffman Earn All-Tournament Team Honors

Tiffin University had two volleyball student-athletes selected to the Christian Brothers All-Tournament team.

Senior Danielle Hicks and sophomore Jenna Huffman were recognized for their performance at the tournament. Hicks finished the weekend with 37 kills (2.37 k/s), a .284 hitting percentage, 11 digs, and seven blocks. Huffman was on fire for Tiffin, hammering 49 kills (3.06 k/s), collecting 31 digs, and totaling 21 blocks (1.31 b/s). Currently, Huffman is 4th in the GLIAC in kills, 2nd in blocks per set, and 1st in total blocks. Hicks is 16th in kills and 16th in hitting percentage.

In all four matches at the tournament, Huffman registered 10 or more kills, collecting five or more blocks in three of the four matches. Her best game came against Arkansas-Monticello, posting 15 kills, 14 digs, and seven blocks. Hicks finished the tournament strong, collecting 11 or more kills in two of the four matches. Her best performance came when the Dragons needed it, posting 14 kills in Tiffin's five set victory over Christian Brothers.
