Huffman and Lattimore Earn All-Region Honors

For the first time in 23 years, two Dragons earned All-Region honors, as Jenna Huffman and Taylor Lattimore were selected to the D2CCA All-Region team, marking the first time in program history that an athlete was honored regionally at the NCAA Division II level. The last Tiffin University volleyball player to receive an All-Region selection was Holly Morgan back in 2006 when the university was still participating at the NAIA level.

Jenna Huffman, a First Team pick, had maybe the best rookie campaign in Tiffin University history, leading Tiffin in kills (349), attempts (775), hitting percentage (.347), blocks (141), and blocks per set (1.22). In the GLIAC, Jenna led the conference in blocks and blocks per set, and nationally finished inside the top 10 in total blocks. Huffman is the first 1st team All-Region selection since 1994, when Mary Lanker earned the honor at the NAIA level.

Taylor Lattimore, a Second Team selection, kept the line moving for the Dragons' defense, collecting 620 digs to lead Tiffin and the GLIAC. Her 5.30 digs per set led the GLIAC, and nationally she finished 42nd in digs per set and 17th in total digs. Lattimore is already the all-time leader in total digs at the NCAA Division II level in the Tiffin University record book, accumulating 1830 in three seasons. Taylor is only the second Dragon in 26 years to earn a 2nd team All-Region honor, and the first at the NCAA Division II level.
