Women’s Track and Field Host Reggie Thomas Classic

The women's track and field squad hosted the Reggie Thomas Classic.

Marisa Gwinner took first in the high jump with a 1.77 meter leap (an NCAA DII provisional mark), C'Airra Carter came in fifth with a leap of 1.57, and Emma Zibbel finished eighth with a mark of 1.52.

Gwinner also grabbed first in the long jump with a leap of 5.53 meters.

De'Chanelle Goynes finished second in the triple jump with a jump of 11.09 meters.

Brook Boes came in second in the shot put with a mark of 13.78 meters, Brittany Devall finished seventh with a throw of 12.78 meters, and Rebecca Marvin in ninth with a mark of 12.15 meters.

Harley West nabbed fourth in the weight throw with a throw of 16.20 meters and teammate Brook Boes came in ninth with a mark of 15.11 meters.

The duo of Aisha Brown and Amaya Bills fared well in the 60-meter dash, finishing second and third with times of 8.35 and 8.39.

Amirah Strauther took first place in the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.88 and Rajiah Andrews came in third with a time of 9.05.

Rajiah Andrews also took first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.71 and Sidney Richardson came in eighth with a time of 8.07.

Greta Macadam took second place in the 800 race with a time of 2:23.49.

Ines Macadam finished seventh in the 3000 meters with a time of 11:25.20 and teammate Chloe Will was eighth with a time of 11:25.75.
