NEW ORLEANS - The USTFCCCA announced the Division II Women's Indoor Track & Field All-Region teams on Monday, with eight Dragons earning nine honors in the Midwest Region.

All-Region awards go to the athletes with the top five marks in each event in each of Division II's eight regions.

Andrews (60m hurdles), Gwinner, and Johnson each also received Top Regional Performer recognition.

Tiffin's 60m trio of Andrews, McGill, and Cooper-Laylor is among the best in Division II, led by Andrews at second regionally and 10th nationally with a top time of 7.51 seconds set at the Tiffin Alumni Open on Dec. 14. McGill's top time of 7.56 seconds from last weekend's GMAC Indoor Championships is fourth in the region and tied for 19th in the country, while Cooper-Laylor's 7.57 seconds from the Silverston Invitational on Feb. 21 is fifth in the region and tied for 22nd in the nation.

Andrews' 60m hurdles mark of 8.59 seconds from the GMAC Indoor Championships is first in the region and tied for ninth in Division II.

Gwinner broke a school and conference record in the high jump at the GMAC Indoor Championships with a mark of 1.80 meters that is alone atop the Midwest Region and all of DII heading into the National Championships. Francis is fifth regionally and 15th nationally in the same event with a top mark of 1.71 meters from the Tiffin Dragon Open on Jan. 18.

The Dragons' shot put tandem of Johnson and Berry will be a force to be reckoned with at the National Championships, coming in first and second in the region and fifth and sixth in the nation, respectively. Johnson's top throw of 15.12 meters came at the Tiffin Dragon Open, while Berry's top heave of 15.10 meters is from the Hillsdale Conference Crossover on Jan. 24.

Williams wraps up Tiffin's honors in the pentathlon by ranking third in the region and 11th in Division II after a score of 3678 points at the GMAC Indoor Championships this past weekend.

The official qualifying lists for the 2020 NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Ala. on March 13-14 will be announced by the NCAA later today.
