McGill Earns Track Athlete of the Week Honor

INDIANAPOLIS - With a standout effort at the Saginaw Valley Open over the weekend, Tiffin's Keyonna McGill has received the GMAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week.

McGill turned in a pair of first-place finishes, a prelim victory, and a runner-up effort while checking into the top 10 of the conference record books.
 
First, McGill is now No. 3 in the 60-meter dash after racing to a 7.57 (NCAA provo) and finishing second to only teammate Rajiah Andrews, who is the new No. 2 following a 7.52.
 
She cut a full tenth of a second off from her preliminary time of 7.67. McGill crossed the line first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 57.34.
 
McGill then did her part as a member of the Dragons' winning 4x400 relay group and their time of 3:58.88.
