HILLSDALE/UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Tiffin women's track & field performed well at a pair of events on Friday, competing at both the Saginaw Valley Open and the Hillsdale Conference Crossover.
Provisional Marks
- Nicole Berry won the shot put at Hillsdale with a throw of 15.10 meters that is the seventh-best mark in GMAC history
- Brenda Johnson was second in the same event with a toss of 14.70 meters
- Keyonna McGill finished first in the 60m prelims at SVSU with a time of 7.67 seconds that moves her into sixth all-time at TU and is tied for the eighth-best mark in GMAC history
- Madeline Hayes finished seventh in the pole vault with a provo height of 3.62 meters
Additional Highlights
- Shalbe Evans won the long jump at Hillsdale with a leap of 5.34 meters, Miaisha Blair was second with 5.32 meters
- Alaura Holycross was third in the weight throw at Hillsdale with a PR of 16.26 meters that improves her third-place ranking all-time at TU, Brenda Johnson was third also with a PR of 16.05 meters, moving into fourth in Tiffin history
- Miaisha Blair won the triple jump at Hillsdale with a leap of 10.62 meters
- Rajiah Andrews was third at SVSU in the 60m Hurdles prelims with a time of 8.90 seconds
