While it might officially be spring on the calendar, that doesn't mean that the entire country has thawed out just yet.

But you can start to see it move that way as a combined 81 new schools joined the latest edition of the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index which was released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday. Tiffin University was part of that group, making its first appearance at No. 30.

Angelo State was tops in the country with 183.99 points, followed by San Francisco State with 158.43. The Dragons are the highest ranked G-MAC school with 43.40 points. Hillsdale is next on the list in 80th.

Tiffin was picked 3rd in the G-MAC preseason outdoor poll, and finished the indoor season ranked 24th in the nation.
