Lady Dragons take on the field at Tiffin Grand Prix

Tiffin University's women's track and field team had a number of standout performances at the Tiffin Grand Prix.

The Dragons hit two provisional marks and two individual event champions during the event. Taking first on the day was Emma Gielink in the triple jump with 11.09 meters, while Miaisha Blair won the long jump with a leap of 5.52 meters.

Hitting NCAA provisional marks were Monica Carson in the shot put with 13.56 meters, good for second place overall. Dalaney Rogala also took second and hit an NCAA mark with 1.67 meters.

Also taking second on the day were the DMR squad of Liebold, General, Briggs, and Chirchir in 13:57.66, Kristen Massey in the 200 meters in 25.47, and Blair in the 60 meters in 7.94 and the triple jump in 10.87.

Other top finishers included Alexis Cloud (3rd in 60 hurdles), Brittany Holbrook (3rd in 60), Courtney Brown (3rd in long jump), Adaysha Parker (3rd in 200), and Mercedeez Francis (3rd in high jump). Anaiyah Strickland (4th in 60 hurdles) and Carlee Marshall (4th in long jump) also did well.
