More three-set wins lead TU to 5-2 victory

Tiffin University (4-1) continued to enjoy success in its three-set matches, winning three more en route to a 5-2 win over Lake Superior State.

TU got one of its points by winning two of the three doubles matches. Carina Avram/Emily Barrett beat Nadege Koua/Milena Baigorria 6-3, while Allessandra Maganuco/Anaelle Lepinay won a tough battle over Muskaan Ranjan/Maddie Whip 7-6. LSSU's Keegan Malpass/Claudia Sole beat Shea Foster/Sharanya Shetty 6-2.

In singles, TU's top three singles players all won three-set wars. Carina Avram won a tough third set over Nadege Koua 6-2, 5-7, 7-5, Emily Young bounced back in the third set over Milena Baigorria 7-6, 2-6, 6-3, and Emily Barrett pulled out a win over Muskaan Ranjan 6-1, 3-6, 6-2. Jessica Peace got another point in straight sets over Keegan Malpass 6-0, 6-3.

TU also fell in a couple tough three-set losses. Claudia Sole edged Anaelle Lepinay 6-3, 1-6, 10-7, and Julia Fraile Raton outlasted Shea Foster 1-6, 6-0, 12-10.
