Dragons Remain Undefeated, Defeat Indiana Tech 5-2

LEXINGTON, Ohio - Tiffin women's tennis improved to 4-0 on the year with a 5-2 victory over Indiana Tech on Saturday at the Lakewood Racquet Club.

The Dragons came up short in doubles, with the duo of Lauren Prince and Juliette Sirgant earning the lone victory 6-2. Anais Geslin and Emily Sim also had a very close match, but fell 7-6.

Tiffin dominated in singles, however, winning five of six with the lone loss coming in a tight three-set affair.

At No. 1, Geslin won a three-set match 6-1, 4-6, 7-5 and Sim followed that up at No. 2 with a 6-0, 6-3 victory.

Sirgant took an easy 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3 and Courtney Fyvie gathered a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 4.

Jacqueline Kamps earned TU's fifth singles win at No. 6 by a 6-0, 6-3 score.

The Dragons now have a week before their next match as they travel to Oberlin next Saturday for a noon start.
