Dragon Details:

Tiffin enters the tournament as the three-seed after going 5-2 in GMAC play and 10-7 overall on the year. TU's two conference losses are to the teams seeded above them in Hillsdale and Walsh, and both matches came down to the last matchup as the Dragons fell 4-3 each time. In their five GMAC victories, Tiffin swept three while only allowing one point in the other two contests, including the match against the final team in the postseason in Findlay.

The Dragons had the same singles lineup for all seven conference competitions on the year. Abbie-Jade Riley slotted in at No. 1 all season, going 4-3 in GMAC action. TU's No. 2-4 singles were dominant in conference play, as Emily Sim (5-0), Juliette Sirgant (7-0), and Lauren Prince (6-0) all went undefeated. At No. 5, Milah Ryland went 3-2, while Shea Foster finished 1-3 at No. 6.

Four Dragons had at least 10 singles wins throughout the regular season, with Sirgant at 17-6, Prince 14-6, Ryland 12-7, and Sim 11-4.

In doubles, Prince and Sirgant teamed up for a 4-2 record at the No. 1 spot in conference action, and 14-9 overall on the year. Riley and Sim paired up for a 4-1 record at the No. 2 spot in GMAC play, while Foster and Ryland went 5-2 primarily from the No. 3 position.

Last year as a member of the GLIAC, the Dragons reached the postseason as the five-seed before falling in the semifinals and then taking the third-place match.

Scouting the Cavaliers:

Walsh enters the championship as the two-seed with a 6-1 GMAC record and 15-8 overall record, with their only conference loss coming to Hillsdale by a 7-0 score.

Mercedes Francis led the way at No. 1 singles with a 5-2 record in conference action, while Maria Kacalova went 2-2 from the No. 2 position. Clara Drasch went 5-2 in conference play (3-2 at No. 3), and Nicole Beidacki was 4-2 at the No. 4 spot. At No. 5, Katharina Razum was 4-1 in matches that finished, while Sofia Khairutdinova went 3-1 at No. 6.

Francis and Beidacki played all seven conferences matches together at No. 1 doubles, going 6-1. Kacalova and Razum went 3-3 at the No. 2 spot, while Drasch and Parvanee Karimpour were very solid at No. 3 with a 5-1 GMAC record.

Scouting the Chargers:

Hillsdale is the team to beat in the tournament, as the Chargers have won nine-straight matches and enter the postseason 7-0 in GMAC play and 14-2 on the season.

Hannah Cimpeanu played all seven GMAC matches from the No. 1 position, going 5-2. Sarah Hackman also went 5-2 from the No. 2 slot, while Halle Hyman went 5-1 from the No. 3 position and Katie Bell was 3-1 at No. 4. Kamryn Matthews saw the most action at No. 5 and went an undefeated 4-0 in matches that were completed, while Corrine Prost played the majority of the conference slate at No. 6 and finished a perfect 6-0 in GMAC action.

The duos of Cimpeanu/Hackman and Bell/Hyman switched back-and-forth between the No. 1 and 2 doubles pairings during the conference slate for the Chargers, with Cimpeanu/Hackman going a perfect 6-0 and Bell/Hyman finishing 4-2. Hillsdale was also undefeated at the No. 3 position, with Matthews/Madeline Bissett played four matches and going 4-0, while Julia Formentin and Sophia Spinazze took the court for the other three and finished 3-0.

Scouting the Oilers:

Findlay squeezed into the postseason with a 9-8 overall record and 4-3 GMAC mark to earn the fourth and final seed.

Samantha Sweet ran the table at the No. 1 singles position for the Oilers, joining TU's Sirgant as the only players to win seven singles matches in conference play. Laiying Alvarado just missed joining them, going 6-0 with one unfinished match from the No. 2 slot. At No. 3, Eliza Kirov finished the year 4-3, while Laura Brito was also 4-3 at No. 4. Mikaela Hindenlang held down the No. 5 spot with a 2-3 record, while Cristina Nieto Sot finished 3-1 at No. 6.
