Tiffin University (12-10) could not overcome numerous injuries, forfeiting two matches en route to a 6-3 loss to Chowan in their final match at Hilton Head, South Carolina.

TU trailed 2-1 after doubles play, with third doubles being a loss by default. Abbie-Jade Riley/Lauren Prince picked up a tough 8-6 win, while Anais Geslin/Juliette Sirgant fell 8-2 in their match.

In singles, TU defaulted one match while picking up wins in two of the other three matches. Geslin won 6-2, 6-0 while Sirgant battled back for a big 2-6, 7-6, 10-6 win. Prince dropped a three set match 4-6, 6-4, 10-4 while Riley also fell 7-5, 6-1. Cassandra Weidner lost at fifth singles 6-0, 6-0.
