Dragons compete at ITA Regionals

Tiffin University had five student athletes competing on the first day of the ITA Regional Championships hosted by Northwood University.

TU's three singles players all went 1-1. Emily Sim posted a 6-4, 6-4 win over Bellarmine before retiring down 6-1, 3-0 against Davis and Elkins.

Abbie-Jade Riley opened with a 7-5, 6-1 win over McKendree but then fell to Indianapolis 6-4, 6-1.

Lauren Prince defeated Findlay 6-0, 6-2 but then also fell to the Greyhounds 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles play, Anais Geslin/Juliette Sirgant fell to Drury 8-2 while Prince/Riley fell to Ferris State 8-4.

Play will continue on Sept. 23.
