Tennis rises to 42nd in nation

Tiffin University's women's tennis team continues to impress national and regional raters, as they were bumped up one spot to 42nd in the nation in the latest ITA national rankings.

The Lady Dragons (14-2) remain 4th in the Midwest Region overall, trailing only first-place Indianapolis, then Drury and Northwood in the poll. Tiffin recently finished 2nd in the GLIAC Tournament, and their only two losses on the season were both to the Timberwolves.

TU is one of just three GLIAC teams in the Top 50. Northwood is situated at 35th overall, while Grand Valley State is 46th. Individually, Caroline Nelhage is ranked 28th in the counttry (3rd in the region), sporting a 19-1 singles record. She also teams with doubles partner Aimee Kaye to field the 22nd-ranked doubles tandem (3rd in the region). The duo sport a 17-3 season mark.
