The Tiffin University women's soccer team dropped their game against Ursuline on Saturday afternoon, falling 2-0.
The Dragons and Arrows were neck and neck in the 1st half, with Ursuline firing 8 shots and Tiffin taking 7. Dragons goalkeeper Shelby Haworth saved 5 shots on goal as the two teams battled to a scoreless tie at the half.
Things changed quickly at the start of the second half, as the Arrows produced two goals in the early minutes of the 2nd half with a single minute gap between each goal. In the 48th minute, Megan Rafac hit a shot from outside the box towards the goal off a pass from Theron Ruff. A minute later, Ursuline scored an insurance goal by Jarah Forehlich on a 10 yard shot.
Tiffin fired 16 total shots, while the Ursuline Arrows had 14. The Arrows also led in corner kicks 8-5. Haworth had 8 saves in goal in the tough loss.
The loss drops Tiffin to 0-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
