The Tiffin University women's soccer team returns home for the first time in 20 days, hosting the Ashland University Eagles. Tiffin comes off an 0-2 weekend, falling to Ferris State and Grand Valley State. 

Series Record: The Dragons hold a slim 6-5-2 series lead. The six wins came in three straight seasons, sweeping Ashland in 2008, 2009, and 2010. The last time Tiffin defeated Ashland was on October 29, 2010.

Last Matchup: Tiffin last hosted the Eagles at home on October 28th of last year. The Eagles dropped Tiffin 4-1. 

Eagles: Ashland is currently 2-2-1 overall with a matchup with the University of Charleston on Friday. The Eagles defeated Ferris State 1-0 their last time out.

Tough Schedule: Of the five games Ashland has played, two have been against nationally ranked opponents. The Eagles fell 2-0 to #20 Quincy on September 2, and more recently dropped a 3-0 decision to #12 Grand Valley State.

Sluggish Offense: Ashland's offense has scored only four goals, placing them 9th of 10 GLIAC teams. The Eagles have totaled 49 shots, with 51% coming on goal.

Dragons: Tiffin hit the road last weekend for their toughest road trip of the season. Tiffin dropped a tough 2-1 decision to Ferris State on Friday. Tiffin then fell to Grand Valley State on Sunday.

Firing Range: The opposition is averaging 20.9 shots per game, with 10.3 (49%) coming on goal. Tiffin goalkeeper Samantha Ortenzi has been a busy body in net, collecting 50 saves. She leads the GLIAC in goalie minutes played (638:22), saves per game (7.14), and total saves (50). Nationally, she is 3rd in total saves, 4th in minutes, and 28th in saves per game. With four more saves, Ortenzi will log 300 for her career.
