Tiffin University upset 21st-ranked Ashland 27-22 in a G-MAC dual in the Gillmor Center.

The Dragons won the first five weight classes while Ashland took the final five. The difference was that Tiffin amassed 27 points in its five wins while Ashland totaled 22. Tiffin was also benefited by two forfeits in the opening weight classes, as Brandon Mendoza (125 pounds) and Lance Crawford (133) got forfeit wins for TU.

Bryson Cole (141) picked up a 9-4 win in the next bout, while Zack Donathan (149) powered his way to a win by fall in just 31 seconds. Casey Barnett (157) got TU's final win on the night with another pin in 4:49.

Ashland mounted a comeback in the upper weight classes. Sam Lofaso III (165) was pinned in 2:00, while Connor Twigg (174) lost a major decision 18-4.

At 184 pounds, Iran Love was pinned in 2:42, while Jake Noon (197) lost a hard-fought 7-0 battle. Dylan McCandless (285) also fell in a close heavyweight contest 8-4.
