Another week, another ranked foe falls to the Tiffin University wrestling squad.

Tiffin posted its 9th dual victory in the last 10 matches, with six of those being against ranked opponents, as they dispatched 18th ranked Findlay 25-14 in a rocking Gillmor Center.

Bryan LaVearn came right back with his own 8-0 major decision at 141 pounds to put TU back up 10-4. The Roughnecks continued to keep the pressure on the Dragons when they handed Collin Adkins a 9-3 setback to bring the score to 10-7, Tiffin.

TU took a commanding lead by winning the next three weight classes. Beau Minnick (157) pulled out a tough 4-2 decision in sudden victory, and Richard Screptock got a forfeit victory at 165. When Chase Boyd dominated at 174 pounds with a 12-5 decision, the Dragons suddenly had the Roughnecks behind the eight ball with a 22-7 advantage.

Mateo Lybarger took a 15-3 loss at 184 pounds, but the Dragons put the match away when Nicholas Mason (197) got another gutsy 7-5 sudden victory decision. Chase Carter fell in a narrow 285 pound match 3-0 to make the final score 25-14, Dragons.
