It took only three matches for Tiffin University to rack up enough points to beat 23rd-ranked Lake Erie 30-12.

The Dragons opened on fire in their first home match of the year, winning the first three weight classes via pins to jump out to a 18-0 lead and never look back.

Giuseppe Penzone (125) blasted through his match for a fall in 1:48, while Rico Puente (133) battled and picked up a pin late in the second period in 3:50. Bryan LaVearn (141) made it through his match in strong fashion, posting his pin in 1:44.

Collin Adkins (149) nearly made it four in a row, coming up just short 9-8 as Lake Erie got on the board for the first time. Beau Minnick (157) didn't let the Storm continue a comeback, posting his own narrow 5-2 victory.

Mateo Lybarger (165) battled throughout his match but also lost a close one 6-2, but the Dragons again bounced back when Chase Boyd (174) rebounded for a 5-2 victory. After Hayden Bronne (184) fell 7-2, Nicholas Mason got the Dragons' last victory of the night with a dramatic pin in 1:53 at 197 pounds. Caleb Fry (285) fell in the night's final bout 5-0.
