Tiffin University (ranked 11th nationally) won its first GLIAC dual of the season, posting three falls in the final four matches to come from behind and beat 12th-ranked Lake Erie on the road 29-18.

The Dragons fell behind 12-0 early after two pins at 125 and 133 pounds. Rico Puente (141) got TU on the board with a 12-7 win while Michael Screptock (149) followed that up with a big 16-5 victory to pull the Dragons to within 12-7.

Sam Viengmany kept the streak going with a 13-3 victory to pull TU to within 12-11 but Beau Minnick (165) lost a close 4-2 decision as the Storm went back up by four points.

Then the Dragons flexed their upper weight class muscle, as Chase Boyd (174) posted a big pin in 2:21 to put TU on top for the first time 17-15. After Jared Chambers (184) fell 5-1, the Storm were back on top 18-17 with two matches left but it wasn't even close, as Kevin Christman (197) smashed his opponent via pin in just 1:30 and Garrett Gray continued his dominance with a 22 second pin at 285 pounds to put the Storm away.
