Dragons picked fourth in G-MAC preseason poll

Tiffin University's women's lacrosse team has been picked fourth in the 2023 G-MAC Preseason poll.

Walsh was picked on top with 15 points including 3 first-place votes. Findlay was right behind with 13 points (1 first-place nod), while Ashland was third with 11 points (1 first-place vote). TU had 7 points, and Lake Erie was next with 4. 

Last season Walsh won the regular season title, with the Oilers, Eagles, and Dragons rounding out the top four and landing G-MAC tournament berths. Walsh defeated Findlay 17-6 in the G-MAC Championship game.

The 2023 Dragons are led by G-MAC Second Team midfielder Gabby Wilson (21 goals, 8 assists) and Second Team goalkeeper Jenay Rennie (14.06 GAA, 169 saves). 

TU opens its season Feb. 17 at Maryville and hosts its home opener on Feb. 24 vs. Thomas More at 6 pm.
