Hamilton headlines top GLIAC women's lacrosse honorees

Elle Hamilton joined six other Tiffin University players to garner some of the top honors as the GLIAC women's lacrosse All-Conference teams were announced.

Hamilton earned Freshman of the Year honors along with a First Team nod, joining Randi Castner and Morgan Sherley on the First Team.

Hamilton had a strong first season with Tiffin University, leading the conference in draw controls while also leading the Dragons in a variety of categories. She led the team in draw controls and was second overall in ground balls, caused turnovers, and goals while also finishing third in points.

Sherley led the team in points with 56 and assists with 25 while also netting 31 goals. Castner was TU's top defender, posting a team best 32 caused turnovers. That number also put her 2nd in the GLIAC.

Earning Second Team honors were Tori Nelson (team best 36 goals, 45 points, 54 draw controls) and goalkeeper Kat Schneeberger (8.87 GAA, 102 saves).

Honorable Mention picks went to Amanda Flotteron (33 goals, 43 points) and Amie Morrison (8 goals, 10 points).
