Dragons drop in round two at National Championships

Tiffin University fell off the pace in round two at the NCAA Women's Golf National Championships in Eureka, Missouri.

After opening with 303 in round one, TU shot 321 in round two, falling six spots to 17th place overall with a 624 total. Dallas Baptist was in first with 580 followed by Findlay with 583 and Nova Southeastern with 586.

Every Dragons golfer struggled on day two, with Lisa Marie Schumacher falling from 71 to 79 to lead the team with a 150 total. Michaela Lindahl went from 75 to 78 on day two (153) while Amanda Johansson (76-79) sits at 155.

Jordan Van Meter (81-85 for 166) and Alexis Savage (84-87 for 171) rounded out the field for Tiffin.

The third round will be held on May 18.
