TU finishes runner-up at G-MAC Championships

Tiffin University's women's golf team continued their strong Division II season, finishing second at the G-MAC Championship.
 
The Dragons improved dramatically in round three, cutting 24 strokes off their total from 335 (2nd round) to 311 (3rd round) for a total of 965 and finished second, trailing champion Findlay with 932. Walsh finished 3rd with 995.
 
Tiffin was led by Emily Koehler. Koehler tied for 5th overall and earned All G-MAC honors by firing a 76, four strokes better than her round two total, to finish with 237. 
 
Alice Putoud chopped five strokes from her 2nd round to 80 and finished 9th overall, shooting 76-85-80 for 241. Amanda Johansson finished 12th overall, shooting 8 strokes better than in round two (87-83-75 for 245).
 
Alexis Savage was next with improved shooting for TU with 248 (81-87-80) while Melissa Gabriele stayed close to the pack with 257 (81-92-84).
