Dragons take 4th at NC4K Classic; Herb 6th

Tiffin University improved by three strokes as a team on day two of the NC4K Classic, putting them in 4th place in the event held at Jefferson Country Club in Blacklick, Ohio.

The Dragons improved from 319 to 316 on day two, giving them a 635 total. Grand Valley State won the Classic with a 599 score, followed by Northern Michigan's 604 and Ashland's 625.

Sarah Herb shot even better on day two, cutting four strokes (78-74) to finish 6th overall with a 152. Alice Putoud stayed even with two rounds of 77 for 154, while Melissa Gabriele showed the most improvement between rounds, going from 89 to 81 for 170. Staci Ludwig was third overall for TU despite losing eight strokes on day two (76-84), finishing with 160, while Emily Koehler also improved on day two (88-86) to finish with 174.
