Dragons finish 6th at Beall Classic

Tiffin University shot nearly as well on day two as they did on day one, but a few strokes made all the difference, as the Dragons dropped two spots and finished 6th of 14 teams at the Beall Fall Classic.

The Dragons shot 316 on day two compared to 313 on day one. They finished with 629, just behind Findlay's 628 and Ashland's 625. Indianapolis won the event with a blistering 585, while Missouri-St. Louis shot 593 and Illinois-Springfield had 619.

Tiffin once again had a strong group score, with only 5 strokes separating the five golfers. Sarah Herb and Alice Putoud both shot 77 in the second round, with Herb finishing three strokes off her day one pace.

Stacii Ludwig shot 83, four strokes behind her total of 79 in the first round, while Emily Koehler improved by two strokes in shooting 80. Melissa Gabriele equaled her round one score with 82.
