Dragons rise to 7th on day two of GLIAC Championships

Tiffin University's women's golf team cut 4 strokes off their score during round two, rising to 7th of 12 teams at the GLIAC Women's Golf Championships held at the Virtues Golf Course in Nashport, Ohio.

TU jumped from 341 to 337 on day two, totaling 678 overall. Findlay still leads the field with 612, while Northern Michigan was next with 625.

The biggest improvement on the day was seen by Sarah Herb, who sliced 10 strokes off her score in finishing with 79. She is at 168 overall, tied with Staci Ludwig for second overall for the Dragons. Ludwig held steady, finishing 2 strokes higher with 85.

Alice Putoud continues to lead TU overall with a 165 total but struggled more on day two, finishing 7 strokes higher with 86. Sophie Baun was 3 strokes better with 87 (177 overall), while Melissa Gabriele shot an identical round of 91 to finish with 182 overall.
