Tiffin University's women's golf team stood in 9th place after day one of the GLIAC Championships played at the Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

TU shot 341 overall, trailing overall leader Findlay with 308. Northern Michigan was second with 311.

Alice Putoud led the Dragons with 79, with Staci Ludwig right behind with 83. Sarah Herb (89), Sophie Baun (90), and Melissa Gabriele (91) filled the final three spots for the Dragons. 

The Dragons will be back at it over the next two days in the two remaining rounds of the tourney.
