Herb shoots career low as TU takes 9th

Tiffin University had a strong final day at the Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invitational played at the Meadows in Allendale, Michigan, improving by 16 strokes to finish 9th of 19 teams.

Grand Valley won the event with a 598 while Findlay was runner-up with 604. The Dragons opened round one with a 339 but cut that down to 323 on day two to finish with 662.

Three Dragons showed great improvement in the second round, led by Sarah Herb, who shot a career low 74 on day two to finish with 157. She shot 83 in the opening round. Sophie Baun improved from 96 to 84 (180) and Alice Putoud improved even more, going from 97 to 84 (181) from day one to day two. 

Overall Staci Ludwig finished second for TU with a 158, while Melissa Gabriele was third with 174.
