Women's Basketball Summer Camps

Led by head coach Jessie Ivey and the rest of her coaching staff, Tiffin women's basketball is set to host multiple summer camps in June and August.

This includes Elite Camps and a High School Shootout for Varsity and JV squads. For registration and to visit the women's basketball camp website, click HERE. For registration questions, comments, or concerns, please contact assistant coach Miriam Justinger at justingermk@tiffin.edu or 419-448-3418. A brief summary of each camp is below, with additional information found on the camp website.

There will be three Elite Camps over the summer of 2019, with the first taking place on June 8, 2019 and the other two at the end of the summer on August 10 and 17. These camps are for youth that will be entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2019, and cost $75 per entry. It is a one-day high-level camp for high school girls that are interested in taking their game to the collegiate level, and is designed to elevate the skills of participants through drills aimed at improving individual skills, competitive team play, and position specific instruction. The focus of this camp will be to provide a collegiate-like basketball experience while allowing each individual to showcase their talent.

The High School Shootout will take place from June 20-22, and is for both Varsity and JV teams. Pricing depends on number of days a team participates as well as if they are planning on commuting or staying overnight, and can be found at the above link. Each team is guaranteed three games per day. The camp will be played in a shootout format, and games are 20 minutes running clock per half with a 5-minute half-time and a 5 minute warm up. The start time each day will be dependent on number of teams. There will be an Overtime tournament at Noon each day for both the JV and Varsity programs. The OT Tournament format will be a 2 minute game, normal clock, score is 60-60, fouls 6-6.
