Maranda Butler has been named Assistant Stunt Coach at Tiffin University.

Butler served as a graduate assistant coach from 2021 to 2023, including last season which saw the Dragons competing as a varsity sport in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

She has extensive experience with gymnastics and tumbling, having served as the Competitive Head Team Gymnastics and Tumbling Coach for Findlay Elite since 2014. She has served as one of the head coaches working with athletes aged pre-kindergarten to 18 years of age.

As a competitor in Stunt for the Dragons, she was a two-year captain and earned Second Team All-American honors in 2021.

She holds a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology: Human Services from Tiffin University and also obtained her master's degree in Psychology from TU.

"We are thrilled to have Maranda join us as a full time assistant coach," said Head Coach Cassandra Bump. "Maranda's experience as a gymnast and STUNT athlete, and as a cheer/STUNT graduate assistant makes her the perfect addition to our coaching staff."
