The Tiffin University softball team will welcome in the Ashland University Eagles this Saturday, with the first pitch scheduled for high noon.

Eagles: Ashland enters the series 19-16 overall and 7-5 in GLIAC play. The Eagles were able to salvage a split with Urbana their last time out, winning game two 3-2.

Sticky Glove: The Eagles are 2nd in the GLIAC in fielding percentage, and sit 15th in the nation with a .972 mark. As a team, Ashland has committed only 35 errors, and their opponenets have made 63 miscues.

Hot Bats: As a team, Ashland is hitting .302 with the 2nd most hits in the GLIAC with 313. The Eagles have been aggressive at the plate throughout the season, walking only 62 times this season.

Pickpocket on Base: Ashland leads the GLIAC in stolen bases, swiping 53 bags this season. On the flip side, Ashland has been caught stealing 16 times this year, which is also the top number in the GLIAC.

Tiffin: The Dragons were able to survive an 11 inning marathon on Tuesday to earn a split with the Wayne State Warriors. Tiffany Snell earned the win, tossing all 11 innings. The lengthy outing puts her second in Tiffin's division II record book for most innings pitched in a single game. 

Scoring Drought: The Dragons have had trouble producing runs this season, averaging only 2.3 runs per game in GLIAC games. The Dragons only have 37 extra basehits, last in the GLIAC and 177th in the NCAA.

As The Crow Flies: Libby Crow has had a great season thus far, posting a .370 batting average. Crow leads the team with 40 hits and 12 stolen bases.

Hot Hand: Jaime Sevenish has been a solid lead off hitter for Tiffin, posting a team high .392 batting average in 102 at bats. She leads the Dragons in on-base percentage at .421, and is tied for the team lead in hits and stolen bases.
