Tiffin Takes Fourth at Ranger Open

The Tiffin University men's cross country team traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin to compete in the Ranger Open at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course on Saturday afternoon.

The Dragons placed fourth out of four teams with an overall time of 2:24:01 and a score of 80.

Finishing in the top-10 for Tiffin was senior Josh Bishop with a total time of 27:41.4, good for sixth place overall. Just outside of the top-10 was Brayden O'Brien in 12th place with a time of 28:28.5.

In 17th was fellow-freshman Robert Ingle (28:55.9) followed by Chase Drange (29:08.6) in 20th place. Austin Musilli and Jason Beaver crossed the finish line back-to-back in 26th and 27th, just two seconds apart with times of 29:47.4 and 29:49.6 respectively.

Rounding out the scoring for the Dragons was a trio of freshman including Eli Miller (30:08.4) in 30th, Ashton Vent (30:18.9) in 31st, and Nicholas Costas (30:24.6) in 32nd.

Next up, Tiffin will head to the Lewis Crossover Invite in Romeoville, Illinois on Saturday September 7th.
