Ngandu wins All Ohio meet

The Tiffin University Men's Cross Country team competed in the All Ohio Championships on Friday with James Ngandu picking up the win out of a field of 109 runners.  

Ngandu competed and won with a time of 24:49.7, crushing the next closest runner by more than 25 seconds.  Ngandu cruised to the win with an average mile time of 4:59.7.

Other Dragons that finished at the event were Nico Hudson who finished in 62nd place with a time of 28:47.5.  Christopher McKown finished in 69th place with a time of 29:05.0, Trenton Yoder finished in 80th place with a time of 29:51.4, Nigel Carlton and Isaac Boateng finished neck and neck with Carlton in 83rd with a time of 30:04.8 and Boateng with a time of 30:24.9.  Brandon O'Linn was the final Dragon to cross the finish line in 87th place with a time of 30:52.7.

The Dragons total time was 2:22:39 with an average team time of 28:32. 

The Tiffin University Women's Cross Country team participated at the All Ohio Championships on Friday with TU taking 11th out of 15 teams.  The Dragons sent 6 runners in the field of 101 runners at the entire race.

Top finishers for the Dragons were Kimea Lawrence who finished 50th with a time of 25:28.4.  The second TU runner to finish was Kaitlyn Mathews who finished 64th with a time of 26:24.3.  Finishing 3rd for the Dragons was Sydney Schmidt with a time of 26:53.1 in 68th place.  Alyse Dietz finished 4th for the Dragons with a time of 27:03.9.  Tiffin also sent Jada Gilliam and Jordan Grzegorczy who finished in 74th and 80th places with times of 27:03.9 and 28:30.3 respectively.
