Duane Boyd, Jonte Baker, Reginald Thomas, and Michael King earned First Team All American honors in the 4x100 relay at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

To honor the third place finish by the Men's Outdoor Track and Field team at the NCAA Division II National Outdoor Championships held at Charlotte, North Carolina May 24-26, a Celebration Week will be held from June 4-8 to honor their top accomplishments.

The Dragons trailed national champion TAMU-Kingsville (65 points) and Ashland (51), totaling 50 points at the event. The finish continued a run of excellence over the last three years that has included a second place and two third place finishes at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships and 37 All American Outdoor citations over that period.

Today's honorees are the 4x100 relay team of Duane Boyd, Michael King, Jonte Baker, and Reginald Thomas. The foursome finished 2nd in the relay race.

The squad exceeded expectations at the championship, as they were the fourth seed entering the race. They smoked their previous best time of 40.46 with a time of 39.83, setting a new TU school record in the process. This also marks the third consecutive year that the 4x100 outdoor relay team has earned All American honors.
