Twelve Dragons land berths at NCAA Outdoor Nationals

A total of 12 Tiffin University men's outdoor track and field athletes were selected to compete May 24-26 at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The Dragons will compete in 11 events at the Irwin Belk Complex in Charlotte, North Carolina. Johnson C. Smith University is the host school. 

James Ngandu will compete in both the 10,000 meters and the 5000 meters. He is the top seeded competitor in the 10K while ranked 2nd in the 5000.

Reginald Thomas and Jonte Baker were also multiple event competitors, as both will compete in the 100 meters and the 4x100 relay event along with Duane Boyd and Michael King. They are 4th seeded in the relay.

Jalon Monigan is top seeded in the triple jump, while Mackenzi Rickman is 5th seeded in the 110 hurdles. 

TU had numerous entrants in the field events. Nikolas Curtiss is 4th seeded in the shot put, while Eric Jackson will compete in both the shot put and discus. Cameron Burrows made the cut in the high jump, Davis Bowers will compete in the pole vault, and Vincent Vogel will take on the field in the long jump.
