MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - James Ngandu, Tiffin

Ngandu got off to a phenomenal start to his outdoor track and field season, posting an NCAA automatic qualifying mark in the 10,000 meters in a time of 28:45.96. The mark, which won the event at the Raleigh Relays, is tops in the nation and the GLIAC and also obliterated his own school record by over 30 seconds. 

MEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Nikolas Curtiss, Tiffin

Curtiss also got off to a strong start to the 2018 outdoor track and field season, hitting an automatic qualifying mark in shot put at the Wingate Dual. His winning put carried 18.46 meters (60' 6.75") and is the top mark in the GLIAC so far this season. His throw also ranks him 3rd nationally.
