TU hits more NCAA marks at Terrier Relays

Tiffin University's men's track and field team posted six first place finishes and numerous provisional marks while competing at the Terrier Relays in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Leading the way was Cameron Burrows, as the multi event star continued his excellent track season with two first place finishes. He won the high jump with a provisional mark of 2.05 meters while also winning the long jump with 6.97.

Jalon Monigan set a new meet record, winning the triple jump with 15.07, while Mackenzi Rickman did the same in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.30. Both marks were provisional qualifiers.

Stephen Korir won the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 9:40.21, while Davis Bowers hit a provisional mark with a win in the pole vault with 4.80.

Posting runner-up finishes were Reginald Thomas in the 100 in 10.69, while Drew Hickman did the same in the 400 in 48.33. Kevin Roberts was also second in the long jump with 6.84 meters.

Other top finishers for TU included Josh Jaster (3rd in the 5000 in n15:41.97), Errik Snell (3rd in 110 hurdles in 14.83), the 4x800 relay team (3rd in 8:04.14), Michael King (5th in 400), Robert Taylor (5th in triple jump), and Collin Blochlinger (5th in javelin).
