Dragons hit 9 provisionals at Findlay Classic

Tiffin University's men's track and field team continued their strong season, posting 9 provisional marks at the Findlay Classic.

Three of those marks came in the shot put, where TU took three of the top five spots. Nikolas Curtiss was second with 17.68, followed by Eric Jackson in third with 17.44. Kyle Stump was in fifth place with 16.08. 

TU also had a commanding performance in the 200 meters, where Shaquille Hildreth won with a NCAA mark of 22.15. Michael King was right behind with another provisional time of 22.18. Wan'ya Williams took 4th and Brandon Lynn was 5th.

Reginald Thomas also hit a NCAA mark in winning the 60 meters in 6.82, while Errik Snell crossed the line first in the 60 hurdles in a qualifying time of 8.16. Nathaneal Wilson crossed the line in third with 8.58, while Mackenzi Rickman also hit an NCAA time in the prelims with an 8.14.

Toryko Grace hit another NCAA qualifying time in the weight throw, posting a distance of 20.66 meters. 

Other top finishers for TU included Nigel Carlton (2nd in 600 in 1:25.28), Stephen Korir (3rd in 800 in 1:59.10), and LaVauntez Hall (5th in triple jump).
