Tiffin University (11-4, 2-1 GLIAC) suffered its first conference setback, falling at Northwood 7-2.

Tiffin dropped two of its first three matches, battling the Timberwolves in three narrow matches. The sole winner for TU was Agustin Mangone/Sorin Navrotchi in a 9-7 nailbiter. Luis Ludena/Toby Cutting fell 8-4 while Andrew Isaac/Elio Lezama Perez fell 8-6.

In singles, Cutting pulled out the lone victory for TU, winning a three set match 6-7, 6-1, 6-3. The Dragons fell in two other three set singles contests, with Isaac falling 6-1, 1-6, 6-2 and Navrotchi falling 5-7, 6-3, 6-3.

TU fell in their other singles matches in straight sets. Ludena fell 6-1, 6-4, Lezama lost 6-3, 6-1, and Mangone suffered a 6-2, 6-1 defeat.
