Tiffin's Nicholas Jefferson did what he had to do to land a spot at the NCAA National Diving Championships, hitting the requisite score to earn admission as TU competed at a couple of Last Chance meets on Feb. 23.
Jefferson, competing in 3 meter dive, hit a score of 492.25 at the Kenyon Fast Chance Invitational. The score was good enough to push him over the top and land a spot at the National Championships.
Tiffin also competed at the University of Michigan and posted some other noteworthy marks. Jonah Sumfleth hit a season best 21.13 in the 50 freestyle, good for second place. Meanwhile Nathan Marr also hit a personal best of 1:01.10 in the 100 breaststroke.
