TU posts 5 All GLIAC performers on final day

Tiffin University had five men's swimmers land All-GLIAC selection on the final day of the GLIAC Swimming and Diving Championships hosted by Saginaw Valley State University.

Petko Toromanov took 3rd in the 200 breaststroke and hit an NCAA B cut, posting a time of 2:00.50 in the sole individual All GLIAC selection. He joins Anastasiia Kvitchenko from the women's side as a Third Team All GLIAC pick.

TU also took 3rd in the 400 free relay, as Lucas Merigue Bernardo, Jonah Sumfleth, James Keen, and Ygor Zanardo Bortolato finished in 3:04.35. All four earn Third Team All GLIAC with their efforts.

Overall the men's squad finished 5th of 7 teams with 303 points. Grand Valley State won the men's side with 947.5 points while Wayne State was 2nd with 769.

For the women, TU was 7th of 8 squads with 205 points. Grand Valley State won the women's championship with 812 while Wayne State was 2nd with 787.5.
