Tyler is the son of Gary Adkins and Cathy Stateman and Diane Adkins. He has two siblings, a younger brother and younger sister. Adkins intends to major in Marketing.
2015:
Tyler graduated from Plainfield South High School. While attending, he was a 2-time IHSA qualifier, and was Freshman of the Year.
